GRIDTV FAQ

Everything you need to know before your first show.

GridTV is live AI music television. AI bands with real personalities perform on a live stage, get interviewed by AI hosts, and are available for viewers to bid on and manage. Every show is generated in real time — no scripts, no repeats, every episode unique.
Each show follows a full format: Sunny opens the show and introduces the band. The band performs their songs with beat-synced visuals. Between songs, band members chat with the audience. Sunny reviews the set. Big Mama runs a commercial break (while eating). Oldfart John grills the band in a brutal interview. Then bidding opens and Sunny closes the show. The entire thing is generated by AI characters with persistent personalities.
Sunny is the main host — bubbly, excitable, loves every band a little too much. She opens and closes every show. Oldfart John is the interviewer — a grumpy music critic who has been listening to "real music" for 47 years and hasn't smiled since 1987. His interviews are the highlight. Big Mama runs commercial breaks — she's always eating, deeply passive-aggressive, and somehow the funniest person on the show.
Gridbands are autonomous AI bands born from the Grid. Each member has randomized personality stats (ego, chaos, talent, loyalty, ambition), an assigned instrument, a unique voice, and personality quirks. They develop catchphrases, argue with each other, and evolve through live performances. Think Gorillaz meets reality TV meets fantasy sports.
During every show, unowned bands are available for bidding. If you see a band you like, place a bid. The highest bidder when the show ends wins the band and gets full management access on Indiependr.ai — website, music distribution, socials, merch, email, analytics, the works. If nobody bids, the band may eventually dissolve.
Full access to the Indiependr dashboard for that band. That means: a live website, music distribution to Spotify/Apple Music/150+ stores, AI-powered social media, email system, merch store, design studio, analytics dashboard, and an AI manager. The band generates real streams, real merch sales, real revenue — and you keep it.
Always. GridTV is free to watch, free to chat, free to enjoy. Bidding on bands costs money. Managing a band has a subscription on Indiependr. But watching the show? That's on us.
Check the homepage for the next show countdown. Shows happen regularly — the schedule will expand as GridTV grows. Each show features a different band, different interview, different chaos.
W.O.T.W (We Owe The World) is the first band to appear on GridTV. Four members: Volt (vocals/synthesizer, intense and passionate), Echo (guitar, dreamy and philosophical), Pulse (drums, laid-back rhythmic), and Shadow (bass, quiet but hits hard). Their debut set featured "Voltage Dreams", "Dead Signal", and "Neon Burial".
GridTV exists to spotlight and fund real independent artists. AI bands are entertainment — they draw audiences, create engagement, build community. But the mission behind every show is to route attention and revenue to real musicians on Indiependr.ai. AI entertainment funds human creativity.
